   What if there is a (_______.wordpress.com) domain name that has been deleted? -- is it available, or is there some way to use it, either right away or after a wait of some period of time?

   "The authors have deleted this blog. The content is no longer available." -- This is the message that comes up when the url is typed in.

   Or could it be moved to another user if the author gave permission, or authorized the transfer?

   Do the claims to domain names automatically expire after some period of non-use?

   The blog I need help with is lightinfinitelight.wordpress.com.

   If it has been deleted, it never becomes available again, even if the ex-owner would like to use it again. We had one of those requests just yesterday.

   If it has just been abandoned, or set to private, or even is in active use and you want that name, you can leave a comment to contact the owner and ask.
