About Page

  1. I want to make my "about page" visible as soon as you enter my blog. For some reason you have to click on the name of the page before it shows up. I used to have a wordpress blog years ago and was able to make it so that as soon as you went to the address (http://spacegirlspiff.wordpress.com) the "About Page", or in this case, a blurb I had titled "Never Ever" just showed up. On my new blog, when you go to the address (http://brittenthompson.wordpress.com) it is just a blank screen and when you click on "Here I am", then the quote that I have there shows up. I want I am trying to make it so that you just see the quote that I have there vs. having to click on something. It's been three years since I created my old blog, and I have no idea how I accomplished this, but please HELP ME before I smash my poor computer into a billion pieces!

The blog I need help with is brittenthompson.wordpress.com.

  2. I want to make my "about page" visible as soon as you enter my blog.

You can set your About page as a static front page. First you have to create another page to display posts on and then you reassign them here > Settings > Reading
See here for instructions for doing both. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
