About the free TWENTY ELEVEN theme..

  1. This free theme doesn't show the links I am adding (widgets)/
If I change to another free design they appear but not on this one. Why is that?

The blog I need help with is evaxydia.wordpress.com.

  2. It does show the widgets on the main posts page:
    http://evaxydia.wordpress.com/blogs/

By default, static pages don't display the sidebar. You need to edit each page and select the sidebar instead of the default template.

For more details on 2011 see my guide to the theme:

  3. Thank you so much, both your comment and link is very helpful ;-)

  4. Hi again justpi,

Could you maybe help me with this one as well?
When someone is clicking on a link to be directed to my website the first thing that comes up is the below:

"This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it?
It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching, or one of the links below, can help."

And this is the "About" page.. I tried to just rename it to the "Profile" page but the same thing happens. It's very strange because once you click on another page and then go back to the "About" page it normally presents a small introductory text I have included.

Any ideas? I really like this theme and I wouldn't want to change it because of this but on the other hand this doesn't look good when someone is visiting your site..

Thank you for all the help :-)

  5. You're welcome.

I'm seeing your About page on your homepage, so I guess you sorted this out.

By the way, such issues aren't theme dependent.

  6. Yep! Thanks again!
