Access to site

  1. Used word press during an ed2 go course. During the course I started a business site
    http://beaconframer.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php

The site will open but I cannot access the dashboard. To be honest I had forgotten that the site even existed. So two things, is it still active????? Can I restart and continue the building of the site. If not can you deactivate the site as it would be no l longer needed.
I will be looking at building a site soon but need info on content

  2. It's still active! To access your dashboard, you need to be logged in with the original account.

Do you see the site in your list when you are logged in and visit My Blogs?

  3. Hi, I have the same problem with casualtwist and I can't find it in my blog list. What to do?

  4. No go.
Using user names and passwords I am referred to the administrator. I am the administrator but can go no further. I would like to ramp up the site go public or whatever but cannot get access
    Pete

  5. Which username account registered this blog?
    http://beaconframer.wordpress.com

You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog's dashboard.

Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden

If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
    follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibility

If you have lost your log-in information you can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
and if required click the "Need More Help" link and complete the form for account recovery.
    https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery

  6. I think I found it
