Add a widget to Truly Minimal theme

  1. Hi!
I'd like to add a widget which is not among the predefined ones to my blog. The theme I used is Truly Minimal.
Is it possible? If yes, how?
Thanks in advance for your help!

The blog I need help with is valentinaatno21.com.

  2. It depends: what's the code you're trying to use? Paste it here between backticks so it displays and we can tell you if it'll work.

  3. <iframe id='website-frame' width='600' height='250' src='http://www.aboutmystyle.com/User/3918/Widget/UserCollection/600/250/146' allowtransparency='true' frameborder='0'></iframe>

  4. 1) You didn't use backticks, which normally interferes with the display of the code, but in this case it doesn't matter.

    2) You can't use iframes at all on WordPress.com. If they don't supply a version of the code that is WP.com compatible, ie has no javascript or iframes, you will have to give up on the idea of using that widget.

  5. Hello again,
I asked for a WP compatible code and the answer was:

"Please use the code as you see here, and then your own widget code, this one is from another user. But then you see what I mean

    [iframe id='website-frame' width='300' height='400' allowtransparency='true' frameborder='0']http://www.aboutmystyle.com/User/4455/Widget/UserCollection/300/400/146[/iframe]

Could you please tell me where do I have to put this code and if I can use it?
    Thank you!

  6. We cannot post iframe codes without having the software strip them out to preserve security on this multiuser blogging platform.

  7. Ok, thank you and if I want to add this code

    [google8d80b7610ff45c1e.html]

Could you please tell me where do I have to?
