Add Media button not working

  1. When editing Gallery page, the Add Media button does not take me to a new window to allow me to upload pictures. Is this feature not available without WordPress Pro?

The blog I need help with is tedmckinney.wordpress.com.

  2. In order to help you we need to know your specific computing environment details. Please work through what follows and report back.

  3. Hi,

I have gone through the lengthy and complete list of suggested help options listed above. Including switching from Chrome to IE to attempt editing my Gallery Page.

Still, the "Add Media" button produces no response in WordPress.

I am using a Toshiba "Satellite" Laptop and using Chrome version 31.

There are no error reports given, just the same editing screen from Pages link from my dashboard.

Beginning to feel frustrated with this process.

  4. One thing to add,

Both the Add Poll and Add Contact Form buttons bring up new windows

  5. I'm so sorry this is happening and I can't fix it. I'll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

  6. Thanks for responding so quickly. Is there another way in to my storage area where the link might work?

  7. Hi there,

I'm sorry for the trouble with the Add Media button. Can you try opening an incognito window in Chrome and see if the problem persists when you try to add media there?

Also, is there another computer you can try this on? That will help us figure out if the issue is specific to your computer.
