add pdfs to my blog

  1. I am stumped trying to add a pdf to my blog so it is visible

The blog I need help with is artpedagogy.wordpress.com.

  2. Me too I also can't see my pdf. I've tried uploading it directly in a post and saving it in my media library. Also for presentations (is it even possible?)

  3. We need links to the blogs you are talking about before we can help.

Me too! I'm working on this blog this week - rather stumbling through. I tried to upload a pdf file from my computer...It looked like I followed the directions. I'm on visual in the create/edit a page. I hit the media button - I selected upload from my computer. I had saved a word file as a pdf and see the llittle logo in my computer...but it doesn't seem to work..

  5. pdf's can not be 'seen' directly in the blog. If you upload them via Add Media the pdf will display as a link, which will only display if you (or your reader) have Adobe Reader installed.

To make them visible on your blog I suggest to use Scribd

  6. Upload the PDF the same way that you upload an image.

media > add new > browse > upload

  7. Husdal's suggesting of using Scribd works great for displaying PDF files.
