   Is there a way to add pre-existing posts to a newly created category without having to edit them one by one? If not, don't you think it's a good idea to be able to select certain posts (in manage or something) and add them to a category?

   There is no bulk method for inserting categories. The posts must be edited and new categories must be added one post at a time.
