Add via @authorname to Tweet Text?

  1. Is there a way to automatically add via @author to the tweet button, similar to the default Tweet button implementation from Twitter? Or is this a function of the selected theme (I'm currently using the Enterprise theme).

Any direction you can provide to implement this is appreciated.

The blog I need help with is digitalb2b.wordpress.com.

  2. What we can do and all we can do is found here > Twitter follow button > http://en.support.wordpress.com/twitter-follow-button/
    [twitter-follow screen_name='wordpressdotcom']

    Additional information and links:
You can also enable sharing buttons on your posts, pages and index pages.
    Also note the “like” button.

You can use a Twitter widget > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/twitter-widget/
You can set up Publicize and publish to your Twitter profile page > http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/

  3. That is not configurable on WordPress.com blogs, and if it becomes the default, a lot of people will be annoyed. The person most likely to use the Tweet This button is the blogger her/himself, and a tweet from raincoaster that goes "via @raincoaster LINKIE" looks pretty stupid.
