Adding a copyright line at the bottom of a blog.

  1. I would like to add my copyright information (for example © 2013 Asia Raykova) at the bottom line of my blog. In addition, I expect it to be visible for all pages under this blog, not only the home page.

  2. CSS is theme specific. Can you please always make sure to include a link to the blog you are working on when asking for help?

    To add text to an element using CSS, you can use the "content" property. Here is an example:

    content: "0A9 2013 Asia Raykova";

    To apply that property, you need to find the correct CSS selector that matches the footer content in the theme your blog is using.

  3. Dear Madam,

    Thank you for your prompt reply. The question was a part of my communication with another member of your team, Mr. Shawn, who was aware of my blog's details - I did not expect it to be redirected.

    The name of the blog is: http://www.vodalimon.com.

    I will be looking forward to your advice how to procede with specifically this theme (Twenty Twelve).

    Best regards:

    Asia Raykova

  4. Try this:

    .site-info:before {
    	content: "0A9 2013 Asia Raykova";
    	display: block;
    }

    Remove the "display: block" part if you want it all to be on the same line.

  5. Dear designsimply,

    I use the Parament theme and unfortunately, I don't have custom design just yet. Was wondering if there was a way to add a copyright to the bottom of this theme? My blog is windybee.wordpress.com

    I was also wondering if there was an option to infinite scrolling or "load more" posts for this theme? If it's possible, I'd my page to look more like a website landing page - adjust to show perhaps 10-15 posts at time, rather than the infinite scroll which looks odd. Any advice or help you may give to change the infinite scroll layout is appreciated. I don't know where the CSS editor is located for this theme. There used to be a place in the admn. menu, but for some reason, I can't locate it now.

    I'm hoping you will respond to my inquiry, as you are knowledgeable and part of the WP engineer team. Whenever I post on the WP support site, there is one annoying WP blogger/ member (not a WP engineer or member of the support staff) who always posts responses to my questions and her replies are neither helpful nor relevant to my questions.

    Thank you.

    Every thread you post into here can be instantly located. I am timethief logged in under another username. Obviously as you thanked me in those threads what you state here cannot apply to threads I responded to you in. http://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/windybee

    That being said, this thread is a Twenty Twelve thread and you are referring to Parament . In odd topic cases like this Staff and Volunteers ask bloggers to post their own threads. http://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1

    Parament theme ... if there was a way to add a copyright to the bottom of this theme?

    Yes. In fact it can be done on any theme, provided you do not remove any footer link credits. You can purchase an annually custom design upgrade and receive assistance to do that via CSS editing.

    I was also wondering if there was an option to infinite scrolling or "load more" posts for this theme?

    Go to Settings > Reading and locate
    Blog pages show at most ___ posts
    Enter the number of your choice there
    Scroll down to
    To infinity and beyond
    __Scroll Infinitely
    and disable
    Click "save changes"

    You would need to purchase the Custom Design upgrade to tack on text to the footer area, but you could add a copyright statement in a text widget if you didn't want to purchase the upgrade—something many blog owners have opted to do:

  9. I am using the theme Photographer, here is my link http://lesavoureuxblog.wordpress.com/

    I have not purchased customization for my blog and I'm wondering how I can display copyright info at the bottom of each page. Thanks!
