Adding a gallery to my blog

    Hey there everyone.

    In the past, I have had a friend install a gallery on both his and my own blog. The particular blog that I owned back then is not accessible any more and I wanted to get another gallery installed on my current one.

    Which gallery software is the best to use and how would I go about getting it and installing it?

    Is your blog hosted here at wordpress.com? If it is please provide a link to your wordpress.com blog. If you are self-hosted and using the software downloaded from wordpress.org, then you need to inquire over at http://wordpress.org/support/ . WordPress.com use a multi-user version of the software and few, if any, of the volunteers here are familiar with the wordpress.org software.

    I think you are hosted on another host and not wordpress.com. As well as the forums that thesacredpath referenced, there are many plugins to view over at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/

    I am using my own host for the blog. I have had a look through the plugins list but haven't found anything that is what I'm looking for. Maybe I haven't looked hard enough so I will give it another shot. If I can't find it or when I do and successfully install it then I'll reply here.

    This forum is for those hosted here at .com. You'll get more specific help over at http://wordpress.org/support as they know far more about the software you are using.

    What you might want is a photoblog theme. Try searching for that. There are quite a few out there, and a couple of them are quite nice.

    Good luck on your search, but replying back here is not necessary as we don't have any of the options that you would discuss anyways because of the restrictions of the service.
