I have added a link with an image.
1) I want it to appear at the bottom of the column, after all the other items.
2) Right now, it is within a category that I labelled "Group blogs". I would like the image (with link) to be displayed on its own but do not know how to go about doing that.
Is that possible? And if so, how?

You would have to modify your theme to place it at the bottom of the sidebar and we are currently unable to.
You could always make another link category for it. :)
