adding a metatag in the header section

  1. Hi,

I need to present a code in the header of my website to confirm that I own the domain (I'm using google business apps to make my email @ mydomainname.com).

It says I need to add this metatag to the header of my site: <meta name="google-site-verification" content="89atBI6UAnOdWadkkxAqTjEHBECoIwfGfkPkv1OnfOM" />

I tried copying and pasting that into the CSS stylesheet to no avail. Help anyone?

The blog I need help with is finetuneconstruction.com.

  2. This is a muliuser blogging platform and we cannot access metadata and insert anything at all. Toss whatever you are following aside as there is only one process that will work for verifying free hosted WordPress.com blogs > http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/
