Adding a "what I'm reading" list to my sidebar

  1. I've searched, and the only thing close to what I'm looking for was the GoodReads widget. I'm not necessarily looking to set up yet another account (with GoodReads), nor am I wanting to sell anything, or link to a seller's site, but would like to be able to show the covers of 3-6 books I'm currently reading so my readers can see what is influencing my thinking.

I see others have this functionality, but not sure how to add it to my site. Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.

The blog I need help with is seek-1st.net.

  2. On the bottom of your Admin page you will find a link to the Learn WordPress.com blogging Tutorial prepared by Staff. http://learn.wordpress.com/
The support documentation is all found at the Support link http://en.support.wordpress.com which is also on the bottom of your Admin page.

  3. Timethief: Thanks! I'll give the "text widgets" solution a try, as soon as I can scrape together an hour or so.

I may actually try the tutorial, but reading the directions goes against my nature... :)

Seriously, thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I didn't look at "text widgets" because I didn't expect it to be able to include images. Guess I could stand to learn more... ;)

  4. You're welcome and best wishes with your project. :)
