I have a wordpresss blog and one page is written by a friend in the UK. Can I allow him to automatically update his area, and if so do I make him an administrator or author? Not sure I understand the author invitation?
The blog I need help with is stoutstandards.wordpress.com.
The WordPress Codex ( http://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities ) explains the different user levels, so you can choose which one is most appropriate for your friend. Keep in mind that the Administrator level allows someone to change all of the settings, including your theme, so you may not want to give another person that level of access unless they are co-administrating your blog.
