   I have read up on the support page on the blog subscription widget to let readers sign up for emails notifying them of updates to my blog. But I can't seem to figure out how to add the blog subscription widget. I know it is in Appearance -> widgets, but I can't find the Appearance tab in my dasboard. I have a free wordpress account. Is this the limiting factor?

   The blog I need help with is bosblr.wordpress.com.

   If you look down the left side of your Dashboard, Appearance is in the list towards the bottom, right below the 2nd dividing line, right under "Polls" and before "Users".
