Adding columns on a blog page.
-
I am using the template “Stay” and would like to use the columns layout I see on the Stay demo page below the front page photo, http://staydemo.wordpress.com/
Can someone please help me figure out how I add columns as I’m customizing my own blog based on the “Stay” them?
Thank you!
Mike

Thank you for your response. On the theme info page it does now say how to create the three columns. Is there a single widget for creating the columns? Thanks!

from what I understand each column is a widget
and can be set up individually in Appearance → Widgets.Kind rgrds

Mike, the three individual widget areas @cristovaov mentions are listed as Home First, Home Second, and Home Third widget areas.

All very helpful, thank you. One more question, I don’t see the widgets I would like in the list (widgets that match what’s on the Stay theme’s demo page), do you know where I can get the “Contact Us” widget and the News and Events Widget?
Thank you!

Hey there Mike! The three widgets you’re referring to in the Stay theme are (from left to right) Text, Recent Posts, and Contacts Us. You should see all of those options when you navigate to Dashboard>Appearance>Widgets.
