How can I add an email link to both my home page and my about page? I want something that says: "Contact me: [email redacted]" -- and by clicking that link, it brings up a pre-addressed email to me. I know I can link easily to webpages -- why can't I link easily to an email address?

You can use this code (in the html editor of course):
<a href="mailto:MAIL_ADDRESS_HERE">LINK_TEXT_HERE</a>
But you'd better try the wp contact form instead, so that you don't make spammers happy.
