How do I add a google adsense ad to the right or left side of my blog? I've tried using the Text/HTML widget but every time I paste in the google javascript it disappears. Thank you.

Couldn't this topic just be made into an "Important Notice" sticky? That conversation with tellyworth and Mark a few days ago on a similar query would be perfect, they pretty much explained the entire WordPress anti-ads/links strategy...
