Adding image at top of Simpla page/template + removing smiley

  1. Hi,
    I've purchased the credits to edit my CSS which has gone pretty well. How ever one thing I simply can't fugure out:

    - How do I add an image, sa a logo, at the top of my page/template?

    - And, is there ANY way of getting rid of the smiley at the bottom of the page, except putting a dark bg under it?

    Any help very much appreciated.
    Thank you,
    /J.

  2. Try doing the header image as a background for the header div. I can't pull up CSS files from here so I can't tell for sure.

    Not sure about the smiley.

    Perhaps you are noticing a very tiny little smiley that is used by the statistics projects on wordpress.

  4. shameless self-promotion:
    custom header howto

    and no, that's pretty much the only way to get rid of the stats smiley. this is what i did:
    img#wpstats {<br /> float: right;<br /> line-height:0px;<br /> margin-top: -6px;<br /> }
    you might want to switch that from margin-top to margin-bottom, in hopes of getting it to push off the bottom of the page.

  5. Thank you all, greatly appreciate the help. I'll try it out right...now!

  6. sunburnt,

    worked perfectly, thanks.

    I knew that but didn't know if there was a method of changing it's color to hide it.
