Adding meta tags to copy/paste?

  1. If you check out http://www.perezhilton.com, copy text, and paste it somewhere else, it adds meta tags to the end of the copied/pasted text. I've seen this done on a few wordpress blogs. Is this a plugin or a feature that I am missing? Thanks

  3. (1) As Matt Cutts has made it abundantly clear over and over that meta tag information is no longer used by Google and hasn't been for a long time, I'm surprised you aren't aware of this. The reason meta information is no longer used is because it was too easily manipulated by unscrupulous webmasters.
    (2) You are in the wrong forum because wordpress.com bloggers cannot access meta data, there is not FTP access to wordpress.com blogs and no plugins can be used on wordpress.com blogs. Go the forum the support bot is pointing you to > http://wordpress.org/support/
