   You won't be able to because java is stripped out for security reasons and you can not because ads are not allowed at wordpress.com.

   everythingabtme, that code is for an ad. we can't place ads on our wordpress.com blog, it's against the rules.

   Apart from others have highlighted you can't add JavaScript in CSS!

   I was curious, how come I saw other's webpage hosted by wordpress, can have ads then?

   Blogs hosted at WordPress.com cannot have commercial advertising unless they pay several hundred dollars a month for the VIP program.

   I do believe that you can have 'an affiliate link'...

   @withmalice
   A discrete link to your own website in the about page or sidebar (not both) is all that is allowed. No affiliate links.
