   Hi,

   I'm having trouble uploading a pdf file in my posts, even through the "add media" tool.

   Uploading file on your WordPress.com site only allows you to insert a download link to a file. If you wish to embed the actual document into a post or page, you can use external services such as: Scribd or Slideshare.
