Thank you Timethief and Hallluke. I appreciate the critiques and advice. I have a 13" macbook and always think the fonts looks small and no scroll bar visible - maybe I'm visually challenged and don't realize it.

I deleted all the width changes I made and hopefully my site looks better in IE.
