Additional menu for DePo Masthead

  1. I'm trying to figure out the ins and outs of DePo Masthead for my new book. It's at: menopauseinmanhattan.wordpress.com. Since I couldn't figure out how to add drop-down sub categories to the menu items across the top, I added a side bar widget for Pages. Now I want to add an additional side bar for another Pages but it offers me only the same pages. I compensated by adding a Custom Menu but I don't understand how to add pages to the menu, and not the Pages section. Does this make sense? Please help!

The blog I need help with is menopauseinmanhattan.wordpress.com.

  2. The pages widget will show all the pages you have created (viewable in the Pages section from your dashboard) by default. You can list pages that you don't want to show using the "Exclude" box in the widget. If you want to use the custom menus widget you need to first create a menu from Appearance > Menus and save it, then select it from within the widget. Lastly you can use the text widget to add HTML code if you want to customise something more, however this will not be dynamic so you'll need to update it yourself when you add new pages.
