address change

  1. Good morning ..
a short time back I wrote regarding something I guess is not usually discussed here but I need legitimate help with it.. address change. I did receive guidance--and as always I am grateful for the support forum here--- to insure that my new blog address change was registered with WordPress so that when I signed in to WordPress my blog opened under the new address.. It worked for awhile but I am now back to the old..when I sign on to WordPress. Help? Please.

The blog I need help with is adoggonewritersblog.com.

  2. Hello there,
I'm sorry but I'm not clear on what your issue is. This is the URL your visitors see http://adoggonewritersblog.com/ and you see the underlying .wordpress.com URL on your side of the blog. That's normal when you are domain mapping. Will you please expand on what you need help with?

  3. P.S. If you would like to like you username to your blog here's how to do that > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2007/10/06/link-your-username-to-your-blog/

  4. Thank you for your response... I do not know if you recall but a while back I changed my .com address.. which with your help I did submit to some email for WordPress my new address which did do the trick. When I would put my pass and email in to open my blog on WordPress it went to the correct place.. the live blog rather then going to the old address which is basically flat lined. retired.. But now when I open in WordPress it has gone back to opening the old flat lined retired address. It is not operative I hope this helps you to be able to help me.. Thank you so much for the service that you provide through this forum and your web. Liz

  5. What are the actual URLs you are talking about?

  6. thank you
I signed in to WordPress this am and my new URL came up!
Just so you know I am for real, I retired justbrutusandme.com and bought adoggonewritersblog.com.. Seems to be okay now.. Thank you for this forum.
    Liz
