Dear WordPress Staff,
Looks like my site has been compromised and I don't know how to fix it.
If it's done by wordpress, I'd like to find out how to get rid of these random ads from my site.

What do you mean by "random ads?" - are they words that you click on or are they regular large ads? Where are they?
@kiwibelma If you see the mention "ads not by this site" appearing below each one of these ads, the issue is caused by some malware that was recently installed on your computer.
Browser add-ons such as "Vid-Saver" or "CodecC 1.0" are known to inject ads into the websites you visit every day.

@jeherve Thank you for the suggestion. The ads seem to have gone but I'll keep details you gave me , just in case they come back! It's been driving me nuts! So much so, I haven't been blogging as a result :-( Cheers.
There are also shopping browser extensions that will place these ads on your blog. Disable ALL of them if the ads return.
