This has been thrashed through in another post of a while back that I read but cannot find any more - and it was closed anyway. So I bring it up again.
Though as suggested by Timethief then I placed a disclaimer in both the languages I use, each time some completely off topic, flickering ad jumps at me, it feels like a slap in my face. The strange thing is that it is only recently that this is happening. Have I crossed some invisible, unknown line of 'so many posts.. so many years' or something that now I am 'elligible' for ads?... The last one today even stayed around after I was logged in... which according to the earlier post should not happen.
Also with that last post, I had made an effort to place the smaller photos and the links they led to in a less boring way than in a row and the whole effort turned into a joke when almost stuck to the last photo some ad was jumping and flickering at me each time I went to comments... I sure would have appreciated a bit more respect, really, even if I am nowhere near being a top blogger.
I understand that WP needs an income from somewhere... don't we all? So, though it still feels like in some camouflaged way I am being blackmailed, I'm giving up. I don't know of another blogging possibility like WP so moving is not an option. The only thing left is what I had read in the earlier post about a fee to be paid to keep my blog ads-free.
Is that guaranteed and how do I go about doing that? Can someone please explain?
