After i edited the css, theme options stopped working please help

    Hi,
    My new theme is structure and i purchased a css edit upgrade just to change the fonts of this theme. (Because i switched to the dark version of the theme and in the dark version the body fony was too dark for me, especially for a dark background.) But after i edited the stylesheet and saved it, "theme options" on the appearance menu has stopped working. I mean i can't switch to dark version anymore and i had chosen a special background image for my theme and i can't use this background image anymore! I don't know what can i do to resolve this problem. If somebody help me i'd be happy:(

    It sounds like the CSS stylesheet you created is overriding the original coding.

    Since there is no official Staff support for the CSS upgrade, and precious little Volunteer support for it, I never recommend that an inexperienced person purchases CSS upgrade. Unless you have at least moderate understanding of HTML and CSS it makes no sense to do so because you must be prepared to do the work on your own.

    Also as we have only a couple of Volunteers who occasionally help with CSS editing it's important to be patient. When they log in after their working day or during it they will locate all CSS threads and offer help.

    ok very very thanks for your reply and the link you provided.
    now how i'm gonna make css changes? for example i want lighter body font colors they are too dark for black background. what do i do?

    As I said above a Volunteer who does have such skills will eventually answer you. Please be patient while you wait knowing you may not get an answer today.

    Try this:

    body {color: #ddd !important;}

    "#ddd" might work for you, otherwise, you'll have to find a color that suits your needs best.
