My spell check has been down for over 2 hours. The hourglass keep spinning around and then I get that error message. I see others have had issues with this, can someone offer a solution?

May I suggest that many browser these days do have a spellcheck function. I use Firefox so when afterthedeadline is offline I simply use it.
If you want to use the one in your browser, check your preferences (not sure where you will find it in your browser) and set it to check spelling as you type. It is much more convenient in my opinion.

Same message is appearing when attempting to Publish as well. Have addressed possible browser issues to no avail and have contacted support. Aaarrrgh.

I'm using Firefox 3.6.16 with a spellchecker built in to it. If you are using IE then maybe you should download it and use it as a backup browser for times like these.
This issue was resolved a couple of hours ago. I know that because use afterthedeadline.
