API Endpoint not accepted by Flickr

  1. I'm trying to blog from Flickr, and the set up process requires I put in my WordPress API endpoint. I've done so (and I'm POSITIVE it's correct), but flickr says it's invalid. They also suggest as WP Setting (Settings > Writing > Remote Publishing), but Remote Publishing does not show up. Any help?

The blog I need help with is bobmang.wordpress.com.

  2. We need a link to the blog please.

The instructions you've found are for self-hosted wordpress blogs and I don't know if they will work here at wordpress.COM.

  3. so does that mean a blog hosted by wordpress.com can not have a post generated from flickr? The instruction both on the wordpress side, and the flicker side suggest this should be possible.

  4. I have no idea if it will work here or not. The instructions on the internet are for self-hosted wordpress blogs, NOT for blogs hosted here at wordpress.COM, and there are some significant differences.

And as an aside, there is no WWW in any wordpress.COM url your blog URL is http://bobmang.wordpress.com/

For posting from outside of wordpress.COM from other blog clients, the URL you would use is http://bobmang.wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php .

If flickr won't connect there then I would suspect it isn't possible to blog from flickr.

  5. I'd sign up and play with flickr, but they ask too many questions and I don't want all that personal information in their control.

  6. Just to be clear, did you use this process?
    Images ยป Flickr Photos http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/flickr-photos/

  7. I'm asking because in that entry I see a after the comma and in TSP's entry I see a period
