Hi, I hav e noticed that recently added Catgories are not showing up on my Category Cloud, even after a few days. I have increased the number os Categories allowed but this has not made any difference - any thoughts? Many thanks,.......Mary

Have the categories been assigned to posts yet? Categories will not show up in the categories widgets (cloud or regular) until they have been assigned to at least one published post.
Yes. the chosen new categories show up at the bottom of the Posts.
You might have to contact staff then since I don't have much experience with the category cloud widget: http://support.wordpress.com/contact/
Don't know what you did but the problem is now resolved - perhaps it just takes a few days sometimes for the Category Clud to update. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
You're welcome, but it must have happened by magic as I did nothing. Perhaps staff saw this thread and did a fix.
