I recently changed my email address and followed the proper steps for doing so. I am recieving the "likes" in my new email but all of my followers comments are now coming in as spam....even my replies to their comments.
What to do???
The blog I need help with is sherrylcook.wordpress.com.
Unspam them and Akismet will learn they are legitimate.
I have been for about two weeks now....its still happening.
Also, there has been a few times...when I try to login, It states that this user does not have the right to login....it gives me an option to ask adminastrator for "an invite" to get in.
I'm not sure if this could be a reason...but a month ago, I purchased a domain through hostgator and I am in the process of building a website. it is http://sherrylcook.com
using a wordpress site. I have not converged the two sites yet....still waiting on someone to help me with the setup. etc. could this be part of the reason?
Are you referring to your free hosted wordpress.com blog or not? We we don't provide support for your external website here at WordPress.com. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.com blogs. All support for sites hosted by any other web host is provided here http://wordpress.org/.support/
I am referring to my free wordpress.com site. that is the one I am having trouble with spam and occasional login problems.

I don't see any comments marked as spam there.
If that is the blog you're referring to, would you please leave the comments in the spam filter so I can check on this?
Ok.... I'll leave em alone for awhile so you can see them. Even when I reply to a comment it goes in the spam. I'll do one to show you.
udate to my site issues....I am still getting multiple lista de email spam and comments from subscribers plus my replies are going into the spam. I am leaving them in there for you to see.
I also noticed that in my dashboard under "blogs I follow" it is not showing that I follow anyone....my likes and comments have slowed drastically in the past month. My reader is still getting posts....seems as if some are there and some aren't.
This all started when I changed my email address it seems. please help!
Looking at your comments, you seem to be getting plenty of legitimate comments that are not caught as spam.
In your spam filter, the only legitimate comments are from you, the rest are definitely spam.
Our anti-spam system is a learning engine, so just keep marking yourself as Not Spam, and it will learn soon enough.
Not true....I've been non spamming the few comments I've gotten...then having to go over to "pending" and approve.
That doesnt explain the "blogs I follow", having 0 in it. but I will patiently wait it out and see what happens....and notify again if it doesn't work itself out.

I'm also experiencing the same issue since last week.. I had promoted one contributor to editor and I thought it could've caused it, and downgraded her to author but the problem still persists. My own comments are being marked as spam too. My site is http:// kraziestkenyan.wordpress.com
