"All my blog post showing"

  1. I set my blog post to show only 3 post at a time, but it now shows every single post I have made since day one? I set this 3 pattern a long time ago and it worked. I just noticed today that it has changed and when I go to reset it, the setting will not work?

The blog I need help with is antbikemike.wordpress.com.

  2. Staff have introduced "infinite scroll" and if you have a theme with footer widgets you can use a wordkaround to regain control over how many posts are displayed on the front page of your blog. If you have a theme with footer widgets all you need to do is install an empty text widget into any footer area for widgets. When you do that there will be an option displayed on this pgae > Settings > Reading to disable infinite scroll. Once you have done that your number of posts set on that same Reading page will prevail.

  3. Thanks for helping me out.

I took a look at all the non-happy replies and wanted to add my own, but see that the topic has been closed!

I am not quite understanding your instructions, but I will try and follow them.

  4. Mystytheme got infinite scrolling. There is no footer there - how do I disable it now?

  5. There are many unhappy with infinite scroll threads aside from that main one and 2 others that were closed. As you have the Twenty Ten theme and as it has footer areas for widgets the workaround will work for you.

  6. @pinaldave
As it has not footer widgets your only option for gaining back control of how many posts display on MistyLook's front page is to switch to a theme with footer widgets and then you will be able to drop an empty text widget into a single footer widget area. When you do that you will have the option to disable infnite scroll on the Settings > Reading page. Then you can regain control of how many posts display on the front page of the blog.
