All of my blog posts show up on every page

  1. I'm working on a site at:

    http://www.newframemedia.com/wordpress

and for some reason whenever I create a new page, no matter what I do all of my blog posts show up on every page. There's nothing I can figure out to make them go away. I would like to have several pages of static content on my site but it's just not possible because those blasted blog posts show up on every page.

Any help would be appreciated... I can't find anyone else having this problem in the forums.

  2. You did not specify a blog address or reason for posting when you created this topic.

This support forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. If your question is about a self-hosted WordPress blog then you'll find help at the WordPress.org forums.

If you don't understand the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, you may find this information helpful.

If you forgot to include a link to your blog, you can reply and include it below. It'll help people to answer your question.

    This is an automated message.

  3. Supportbot lies!

    The site is at:

    http://www.newframemedia.com/wordpress

I would really appreciate any help with this... if someone would be willing to help I'll give you a login/pw so you can look at it from the admin side. Just email me @

    gadkins AT me DOT com

  4. Supportbot does NOT lie.

That blog is self-hosted using the software from wordpress.ORG. It is not hosted here at the wordpress.COM hosting service.

You need to inquire over at http://wordpress.ORG/support/ .

See this from the source on your blog:

    <meta name="generator" content="WordPress 2.8.4" /> That means it is self-hosted.

If it were hosted here, it would say

    <meta name="generator" content="WordPress.com" />

  5. You really need to read this, http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ , which explains the differences between wordpress.COM and wordpress.ORG.
