Hey there! I'm running a blog with some friends right now at http://blog404.org and we want to recruit guest bloggers though we were hoping there was a way to allow the guest bloggers to submit articles that can be publishing with their name without having to add them as a contributor.
The blog I need help with is blog404.org.
That's not possible. Regardless of the theme, Author bylines will only display now if there are at least two Authors, who both have at least one published post in the blog.
You can have each Guest Writer (contributor) type in a byline at the beginning of their posts. You can create a category for Guest Writers and sub-categories for each contributor's name, which can be assigned to posts prior to publication. Then when the sub-category link is clicked all their posts will be accessible.
