I'm using the Oxygen theme in as simple/straightforward way as I can. I'm dutifully uploading an image (and designating it as the featured image) with each post -- can I alter what WP.com "chooses" as the visible portion (for those images that are larger than the featured image area)?
The blog I need help with is hernfamilylife.wordpress.com.
The answer is "no". You cannot crop the sticky post thumbnails to suit you. The software does this automatically and you cannot override that.
Too bad, but thanks for the definitive answer. Good to know I wasn't missing something there.
May be it will not work yeah!!
