   I'm trying to create a specific design for my blog and I haven't been able to find a way to do it or an example of a blog that follows the format I want.

   Here's the challenge:
   I want to show my blog posts in two columns with a single post in each column; however, each column sorts which posts to display differently.
   One column would display the most recent post.
   The other column would show the highest rated post (ordering the posts by reader ratings rather than date).

   My first question is, is there a way for readers to rate or rank a post...such as a star system or a number out of 10 system?

   Secondly, is there a way to display posts by the highest rated rather than by most recently posted?

   The blog I need help with is lyrictrip.wordpress.com.

   In order to answer your questions, we need a link to your blog, starting with http, because the answers will depend on the blog.

   I haven't created the blog yet...so I have no link. I'm just looking for suggestions if there is an easy way to do this.

   It's vital to establish whether or not you have a wordpress.COM blog or whether you are referring to a wordpress.ORG template as the two are different and the answers to your questions will likewise differ.
