I can't link to the Amazon Associates program, using this provided code:
<iframe src="http://rcm-uk.amazon.co.uk/e/cm?t=russjame-21&o=2&p=8&l=as1&asins=B004UIGFWK&ref=tf_til&fc1=000000&IS2=1<1=_blank&m=amazon&lc1=0000FF&bc1=000000&bg1=FFFFFF&f=ifr" style="width:120px;height:240px;" scrolling="no" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" frameborder="0"></iframe>
Is this part of the third-party advertising WordPress does not support?

That's correct. Affiliate codes are generally stripped out at WordPress.com, as are iFrames. You can use an affiliate TEXT link, not an iframe or widget, if your blog is a book review blog and you are linking to books you've discussed in substantial blog posts. If staff think the point of the blog is to drive affiliate sales, however, they will delete it.

Thanks for this. I've used the text-only format as you suggest.
