    Hello!
I have a blog on wordpress.com where I write about the history of music in the Old America. So it is necessary for me to provide updates to my readers, such as books and records. I then started an affiliate program Amazon .. but the banners do not fit!
    How can I do?
    Thank you.

The blog I need help with is patriziabarrera.wordpress.com.

  2. There are dozens of threads here in the forums on linking to Amazon.

Please see a detailed answer given previously by timethief, another forum volunteer:

As well as a Staff answer here: http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/amazon-affiliate-1?replies=2#post-1383273

If this is not what you meant, please post back here.

A bit off topic, you are using far too many tags on your posts. The optimal number is around 15 combined categories and tags.

    Thank for the answer but..

    I read Here:

Amazon.com and other select affiliate links are permitted as long as they are not the primary content of the site in question. For example, if you write unique book reviews, you could add an Amazon affiliate link for the book you're reviewing.

    In particular:

For example, if you write unique book reviews, you could add an Amazon affiliate link for the book you're reviewing.

You can read more about our affiliate link policies here:

Just let me know if you have any other questions.

So if I add to post a review of a book that I want to point out how I can do in-depth affiliate program amazon?

In the case how do you?

    Thanks!

  4. I think the two posts I linked to above are quite clear. In a nutshell, you can add a link to Amazon affiliate in your posts, but it cannot be the main focus of your site and you can't run an Amazon affiliate store on your WordPress.com site.

  5. I think the allowed link is to a very specific book in the OP's case. There have been several blog owners that have cycled through the forum with affiliate link stores and suspended blogs, as well as the one paragraph "review" and links.

    I answer Justjennifer.

Yes, it is true, the links that I've reported are clear. But anyway when I put the Amazon links in the articles that relate to a product wordpress stores them as banners. The picture is not only the complete written that I put.
Do you know how can I do to bring up the banner?

In my site the main topic is the music of old America. My readers continually ask me if I know books and music to learn more about the various topics. That's why I thought affiliation to Amazon, with which I am rich but perhaps not justify the enormous effort to carry on a blog that requires constant research and updates.

Thank you both for your response.

  8. when I put the Amazon links in the articles that relate to a product wordpress stores them as banners

Please give us a direct link to where you see this on your site and the direct amazon link.

    For Example:

    this is direct link
    <iframe src="http://rcm-eu.amazon-adsystem.com/e/cm?t=magoldame-21&o=29&p=8&l=as1&asins=8896149010&ref=tf_til&fc1=000000&IS2=1&lt1=_blank&m=amazon&lc1=0000FF&bc1=000000&bg1=FFFFFF&f=ifr" style="width:120px;height:240px;" scrolling="no" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" frameborder="0"></iframe>

    This is a Banner:

    <iframe src="http://rcm-eu.amazon-adsystem.com/e/cm?t=magoldame-21&o=29&p=12&l=ur1&category=it_books&banner=0H5K1FHKA4Y7X545WC82&f=ifr" width="300" height="250" scrolling="no" border="0" marginwidth="0" style="border:none;" frameborder="0"></iframe>

They appear so in my posts. So I can not use them.

Since the links and banners are just more information that I would give my readers and NOT the reason for my blog there is a method to insert them correctly NOT transgressing the rules WordPress?

    Thank you.

  10. A banner is not an informative link relating to content. It's an ad, nothing more than an ad, and ALL Amazon ad code is banned here. You cannot use them.

You can ONLY use the plain text or image links to direct products or product searches that Amazon provides.
