Am I allowed to have links to my books and curriculum guides that are sold through Amazon (including, but not limited to Amazon affiliate links) in a post or widget on any of my sites where I discuss my books, provide excerpts, reviews and review information?
I am interested in doing this on all of my blogs (4). Thank you!

Note that NONE of the Amazon widget codes will work here. You can only use the direct text links or image links.

Okay, thank you for the information. I don't mind using the direct text or image links instead of Amazon widget codes, but question: how can I use the Amazon html text or image link in a WordPress text or image widget?
I am thinking about switching to WordPress.org to have more options with use of widgets and affiliate links on one of the sites.
I made the first request through email, not the forum, so pardon the confusion.

You can add an image of your product to the sidebar and make it link to the product on Amazon. http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/image-widget/
