AmAzon Simpla Pay Donations button

  1. I have been trying to added HTML code to include a donation button link my charity's Amazon Simple Pay account. Is there any way to do that?

The blog I need help with is veteranspetreach.org.

  2. Have you been able to register through Amazon Simple Pay, and find the Amazon-provided HTML that you need to paste into your site?

And if so, are you asking where to put that code and how to get it in?

Do you want the button in your sidebar/header/in a post?

More info would be super-helpful to us!

  3. I have been able to register with Amazon and get the Amazon-provided HTML code.

Everytime I paste the code into the text editor of a new page or into a text widget for the sidebar (my preferred location), WP modifies the code and the only thing that appears on the website is a single "$"

So I guess I am asking if there is anyway to get WP to not modify the code or if anyone has a better way to link to Amazon Simple Pay.

    Thanks!

I'm sorry but we have code restrictions and you will have to use the unencrypted PayPal donation button instead. http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/

  5. That's unfortunate.

I'm sorry that answer does not suit you, but what I directed you to is what we can use on free hosted WordPress.com blogs for donations.

  7. Thank you. Didn't mean to be ungrateful. I am just wishing I had asked earlier and am wishing I had not had a previous experience with PayPal that makes me hesitant to use them.
