   Hello,
   I still can't get the lady's story of losing her wordporess blog because she mentioned a company out of my mind. Am I responsible for the content of bloggers I subscribe to and can I mention brand names, share a website for helping the homeless( no cash involved- just friendly ways to serve), and speak of my favorite restaurants, books, or places I like to go to?

   I want to make sure that my blog isn't taken down and that I am adhering by all the guide lines.

   Mentioning a company is certainly not enough to result in a blog being suspended.

   There are horror stories out there, some of them enormously exaggerated, that are specifically designed to frighten people out of blogging. If you have the courage to help the homeless, then you certainly have the courage to blog. Last week I did something on my blog that, in some countries could have gotten me killed. Have I gotten so much as a letter about it? A hostile comment? Nothing.

   I have something close to 4000 posts here, some quite incendiary, and have been contacted by lawyers about my blog exactly twice. It's really not as big a risk as everyone is saying (and you can always keep a backup, so you never lose anything really).
