An actual support site for WordPress? Multi thousand topic "discussions" NO

  1. Is there an actual support site for WordPress. I am totally bewildered, going in circles .

Would just like to find how to change Discussion Settings for a blog.

Just to say that it can be done does not tell me where to go and how to do it.

This "support" site looks like each page was developed by a different person with no coordination between them.

Should not have to have an "owners manual" to use an owners manual.

The blog I need help with is restoredlifeoutreach.wordpress.com.

  2. This page > Settings > Discussion
Discussion settings is where you set up defaults for comments.
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/
We can also override the default settings and enable or disable future comments on any post or page.
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/

P.S. This is a peer support forum. Here Volunteers answer the majority of support questions. When Staff intervention is required we flag threads for Staff attention.

  3. On your dashboard you will find a video. On the bottom of your Admin page you will find a link to the Learn WordPress.com blogging Tutorial prepared by Staff. http://learn.wordpress.com/ The support documentation is a collection of living documents that are frequently updated and is found at the Support link http://en.support.wordpress.com which is also on the bottom of your Admin page. Note that the searchbox there provides results from both the documentation and from support forum threads. Here's a link that may be helpful. http://en.support.wordpress.com/introduction/
