Annotations or call-outs

  1. I have the oxygen theme and I want to include annotations or call-outs to my page. I don't know where they are located within my theme or in general.

Annotations or “call-outs” in the samples, as a way to point readers to key elements as they are reading/viewing. Most WordPress themes enable you to do this through the quotation mark icon when editing a page; other themes have additional options such as sticky notes.
Where can I find the sticky notes, call-outs or annotations ?
    Blog url: http://civicrhapsody.wordpress.com/

  2. What is an annotation or call out?
Is it a footnote? An additional piece of information printed at the bottom of a page.

  3. Thank you so much, Timetheif for helping and providing me with valuable information. I could use pingbacks. But annotation is referring to comments on the side or one of those comic bubbles and footnote could be one way to annotate a piece of writing.
Is there a way to add comic bubbles to a post?
