Hello,
I don't mean to be redundant, as I know this is a daily discussion, but I am also having issues with my sidebar. I have tried all the advice I could find on the forums, but have had no luck. The sidebar is at the bottom of every page I have created, and I simply can not figure out how to get it back up to the top of the page again.

Try turning off hierarchy in the page widget and see if that fixes the problem.
In Firefox 2.0.0.16 and in Safari 3.1.2 (both Mac), the sidebar is where it should be.
if only i knew how to do that... ive looked everywhere and cant find a "page hierarchy" to turn off??? any suggestions on where to find that?
