Please try the following:
Clear your browser's cache
Disenable all browser add ons, plugins and extensions then gradually
reinable them to see which, if any is the one that's the problem.
Update Flash
Update your browser to its most current version, you can find all the
most popular ones here:

Hi absurdoldbird -
As I usually find - floored by your first comment! What does clear your browser's cache mean?!
I think the problem is I set up a new EduBlog - they are also powered by WordPress and now they are somehow mixed up. As I was setting up the EduBlog - I rather spookily got a flashed up message that said "Cheating eh!". Basically I have lost administrator status on my own blog - as it has me down as a contributor - but I created it (for my primary class) and no one has used it yet as I haven't introduced them to it but was just trying it out.
Thanks for patience - any advice welcome

@silverbirchyear45 - timethief has given a very helpful link to clearing your cache and how to do it. Basically the cache is an area in your computer that your browser - ie, firefox, internet explorer, safari, chrome - uses to store cookies, previously viewed pages and history of sites you've already viewed. It makes it easier for the browser to display them. Unfortunately it needs clearing from time to time as it can make the system very buggy otherwise as the browser has a tendency not to always show the newest pages or views. So, for instance, you might be seeing something on your monitor that you'd previously deleted!
I have another concern, though, and that is that you said: "I set up a new EduBlog - they are also powered by WordPress and now they are somehow mixed up. As I was setting up the EduBlog - I rather spookily got a flashed up message that said "Cheating eh!"
Now that makes me think that your blog may be using WordPress.org software. And if that is so, then we won't be able to help you here as this forum is for people who use WordPress.com - which is different. So if you would give the URL (web address) of the blog or blogs you're enquiring about, starting with http:// that will help us to define which forum you should be on.
For the difference between the two, please read these:
