Approving my own Pingback links

  1. Lately I'm having to approve my own pingbacks to articles - for instance, every article I publish I include a link to an article published "One Year Ago", and WordPress requires my approval. I am pretty sure that this did not happen a few months ago, and wonder if there's a way to overcome this. Since I am posting the pingback, it seems redundant to have to approve it.

sorry if this has been discussed already, but I did not find anything searching for the topic

The blog I need help with is bewitchingkitchen.com.

  2. Hi. Yes, the topic was discussed about a week ago. Perhaps this will help:

  3. Thank you... sorry I did not catch that thread, it all makes sense now

  4. No problem... The search engine for these forums is unfortunately inefficient. If you don't get the results you want, go to the bottom of the search page and find the link that says: "You may also try your search at Google"

  5. Ha! Never thought of that, thanks for the tip, will definitely keep it in mind...

  6. You're welcome. Happy blogging!
