Archive posts in Image format

  1. Is it possible to keep all the individual archive posts in the Image format, even if I use the Concise option?
    Thanks for any help.

The blog I need help with is carmattos.com.

  2. I use the Chateau theme. Is it possible to keep all the individual archive posts in the Image format, even if I use the Concise option?
    Thanks for any help.
    My blog: http://carmattos.com/

  3. When I used this theme I chose the "concise" format. I also close to insert "the more tag" into the latest post. The “concise” format displays only the title and the first 20 words from each post so that your readers may view your posts at a glance.” http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/chateau/

I choose “concise” and then I created a post and I copied the code from the HTML (Text) for the thumbnail image and the text teaser of the length that I wanted into the excerpt box below the editor box. In other words, I overrode the excerpt that's coded into the theme by using the excerpt box. It was easy to do. http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/excerpts/

  4. Thanks, timethief. This is very useful for showing images in the Concise archive posts. In this meantime I found the solution for not showing the author and category line below the title of all posts, what matches with the Image format. I left though the "Comment" button. Now I need to move this button to the bottom of the post. Do you have any idea of how to do it?
    Thank you once again.

  5. That cannot be done without purchasing a custom design upgrade and doing the required CSS editing.

  6. I have the custom design upgrade, only don´t know how to edit such a change. Tks

  7. I don't help with CSS editing. The custom design upgrade does come with Staff support but most Staff appear to be on vacation or on yet another one of their meetups. I will flag this thread so it gets moved to the CSS Forum for you. There, a Volunteer, most likely thesacredpath will assist you with your CSS editing.

  8. Big thanks, timethief!

That would be a change to functionality and would require hacking the PHP script files, and we do not have access to those on this multi-user platform since we all share the same theme and wordpress core files. A change by one person would change it for everyone.

  10. Thanks, thesacredpath
