Is it possible to get the Archive wdiget to display 'by year',
then by clicking on a particular year, there would be a dropdown
list of each month; or will it only ever be an increasingly long list
of months no matter how many years?
The blog I need help with is dovesgold.wordpress.com.
This is what the support documentation states about the Archives widget and the display options > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/archives-widget/ I prefer to create a static page and use the [Archives shortcode]. Perhaps your will prefer that too.
Thanks for responding timethief; I do always go to the Support Pages before I bother anyone on forum with questions but thanks for the link, yes I looked there but was still hoping :) Thanks for the idea of short codes, didn't look there as it's a bit beyond me at the moment to create them; will go learn what they are :)
